For us it was a lovely place to stay from which we could visit many of our relations who live in this area.

Despite the rubbish weather we had a lovely time at the cottage. Owners were very obliging and sorted the odd problem quickly. Accommodation was very spacious with fab views over the valley between rainstorms! Plus delicious homemade cake....

Inconvenient having to walk from cottage to car . ( if raining ) Storage space for guests food was limited . One wardrobe for two bedrooms could be an issue . Lovely reception from owner and the CAKE was amazing. Comfy cottage with views to die for .

The Stables was the perfect accommodation from which to explore the numerous National Trust properties, Historic Houses and English Heritage site in the area. Having stayed in numerous rented properties during the last thirty years or so, this, in our opinion, was the best, which is high praise indeed. It was simply perfect. Thank you Juliet for making us feel really welcome.

Very elegant property, beautifully done. We were a couple, plus friend and in order to access the bathroom and double bedroom we had to walk through the twin bedroom which was a bit inconvenient and, more pertinently, should have been mentioned.
