Set within the pretty village of Three Crosses in the Gower Peninsula, the first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the UK, you’ll find the lovely Tirmynydd (pronounced tir min ith) Farm Cottage. A ground floor twin bedroom and wet room provide ideal accommodation for less mobile or elderly guests. Also provided will be a welcome pack including tea, coffee, fresh milk, Welsh cakes and fresh flowers.

This charming, 200-year-old detached cottage with Norman origins stands in its own extensive grounds, and enjoys beautiful country views towards Cefn Bryn. There are enclosed gardens surrounding the cottage extending to two thirds of an acre. The property comprises formal lawns to front, sides and rear. There is a large patio area with garden furniture to the rear and plenty of space for outdoor games and socialising, and even a free standing outbuilding which is ideal as a children’s den. The garden leads onto The Gower Way 30-mile walk and is less than 5 miles to the nearest beach and Swansea city centre. It’s also close to numerous beaches including Rhosili which is consistently rated as one of the top ten beaches both in the UK and worldwide! The village has a pub which serves excellent local food and beers, a shop which has an off licence, post office and ATM, play park, golf course, woodland walk, football field and Wales’ largest reindeer herd! You will also have the opportunity for some great cycling and walking, golfing and surfing experiences. Nearby villages offer numerous pubs, restaurants and other amenities.
Within the house there are traditional Welsh tapestry blankets featured on all beds along with duvets, while the living room has a mix of traditional Welsh tapestry blankets and modern blankets to snuggle up to by the efficient gas fire. The property has been owned by the same family for over a century!
