A beautiful location, peaceful and lovely to see the birds and rabbits in the mornings. The owners have thought of everything you might need especially for young children and the chocolates and wine on arrival were a lovely touch. A great place to relax whilst being within driving distance of what the highlands has to offer.

If I was been extremely picky I would suggest a better blind in the downstairs bedroom or curtains that will close to keep out the light at 5am. Other than that there was everything we could have hoped for and more. Had a fantastic time. The wild life is amazing, would definitely go back to Trium cottage. The hot tub got plenty of use and even the puppy was catered for with dog beds supplied. The house is so warm and cosy. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home from home, the owners have thoughts of every little detail. The surrounding area is beautiful, we had many long walks with our Scottish Deerhound. The wildlife in the area is fantastic, the deer in the morning were so close to the house and the wee birds were magnificent. The house is so well stocked with things you wouldn’t think of....herbs and spices, cooking oil, toilet tissue even dishwasher tablets. There are dog bowls, beds and towels as well as many board games and kids toys, even a games console! The hot tub was fab! Really enjoyed our week here and hope to return. The community cafe in Dalwhinnie Village Hall is so nice and welcoming. They are open fri, sat & sun and sell delicious home baked cakes ect.

We were a party of 7 with 1 dog. We could not fault the property. It was well equipped, nothing overlooked. I have never came across a property that catered for their guests as much as this property. It included a birthday box! A beautiful and spotless cottage with stunning surroundings. We all had a fantastic time and would not hesitate in returning for another visit or recommending it. Thank you P.S The cake was amazing

Amazing house in amazing setting.everything we needed was there and more.glad we planned ahead with provisions as there was nothing in village .treats left by owners were a delight to everyone and the little guests in the garden were great to watch and feed.would gladly recommend. Only down side to the holiday was the staff at local snack shack.smiles and good customer service would go down a treat but there was none from them.

We started our NC500 journey in dalwhinne and had a wonderful stay at Truim Cottage. The house was incredibly well catered for a family which was greatly appreciated and it was spotless to note also! Our son loved feeding the pheasants each day and watching the sheep come! A brilliant start to our holiday, thank you!

Truim Cottage was a lovely, spacious, well equipped and clean holiday home. Our party all enjoyed our stay there. Our 1 1/2 year old grandchild particularly enjoyed it, feeding the local pheasants in the garden and having lots of space to explore and play. Our dog also enjoyed his holiday.

A fantastic property - very well kitted out! The selection of kids toys and other board games were brilliant, and the welcome basket with freshly baked cake was such a lovely touch. We all (kids and fur-child included) felt very at home!

Really fabulous welcome with Cake, Prosecco and Beer as well as wood for the fire. Dalwhinnie is a great base for walking, railway journeys and the outdoors. We also really enjoyed doing a tasting at the Distillery. Being able to walk home was a distinct advantage! Would highly recommend to anyone.
