    Located in a quiet part of the popular fishing town of Whitby, Valentines On Love Lane benefits from a spacious interior and a lovely enclosed garden. This three bedroomed, semi-detached house has been thoughtfully furnished and makes for a fantastic home from home. As well as a comfortable living room, the kitchen/dining room leads into the large conservatory and the sunny garden. Valentines On Love Lane has the added advantage of off road parking for up to three cars which gives you the piece of mind when you go out for the day. There are all year round dog friendly beaches for you and your pooch to enjoy close by.
    Whitby is a wonderful gothic town with plenty to do for all the family to enjoy. Why not attend one of the many events or festivals such as the Regatta and Goth Weekender, or just stroll through the cobbled streets with its jet jewellers, goth shops and places to eat and drink. For outdoor enthusiasts, The Cleveland Way is just a few hundred yards away, where you can turn left for Saltburn and Sandsend or right for Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. There is also a public golf course close by. The Whitby coast is ideal for beach lovers, those wanting to take a boat trip out to sea in the hope of spotting a whale, or for those wanting to enjoy the long stretch of all year round dog friendly beach. The Victorian town of Scarborough is just to the south, with its Sealife Centre and the popular open air theatre, attracting top musical acts for all ages. Saltburn and Sandsend are popular with surfers, and the quaint village of Staithes is worth a visit with its links to the explorer Captain James Cook.
    Head inland and you will enter the North York Moors National Park with its miles of beautiful countryside, walking routes and waterfalls. If you don’t fancy a drive, take the steam train from Whitby right into ’Heartbeat country’.     Had fortnight’s holiday and was very impressed with the assistance and advice from Glenn both before, during and at the end of the holiday - not intrusive at all. Location was perfect and better than expected as easy to find from main road, handy for supermarket, garage and especially the beaches. The parking was perfect for the car and you could leave the car and either walk or use the bus. Ideal hub for holiday as could get everywhere. Valentines was very homely and very comfortable; nice living room with Sky tv, conservatory, enclosed garden, comfortable bed and large bathroom with jacuzzi. Very dog friendly home as was Whitby and local area. Valentines was spotlessly clean and well equipped. People were very friendly locally and made very welcome. Kitchen was very large and the welcome pack was well received particularly with things like the basics being in cupboards such as coffee. Lots to do in Whitby and surrounding area with excellent restaurants and cafes available. The weather particularly the first 11 days was perfect and got some great walks on the beach. One suggestion would be a small TV in main bedroom

    Lovely place to stay, ideal location to drive to other places without the hassle of whitby traffic.5 min walk to beach to walk into whitby or along coast road also to walk along beach to Sandsend.The large drive is a bonus for car parking, nice enclosed garden for the dogs and to sit in. House very comfy, everything you could need, good size kitchen,bathroom and bedrooms with comfy beds.lidel up the road, costcutter down round the corner,and a pub The whitehouse couple of mins walk for drink/food.All you need for a great holiday, will definitely return.

    Excellent for dogs as garden is completely enclosed and the beach or a open grassed area accessed under white bridge road is 5 mins walk away. This was one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in and we appreciated the welcome pack also. Cooker is touch start/stop and needed some prodding from time to time and kettle dribbles when pouring were the only tiny things needing seen to the rest of the house was ideal but be aware it has steep stairs to bedrooms. Situation wise the road outside can be pretty busy/noisy at times so be aware of that. 15/20 minute walk to centre of Whitby and Glenn the owner was excellent and dealt with any problem quickly and it was no bother so book with confidence and enjoy and hopefully get decent weather !!

    We found the property not to our standard of cleanliness in the bathroom and kitchen.There was hair and dust on the bathroom floor soap residue in the sink,cobwebs on the ceiling.when we wanted to use the measuring jug that had food residue on it.The decking and garden furniture was covered in bird droppings,the grass was overgrown.So has my wife cleaned the kitchen I mowed the lawn.I don’t go on holiday to do that

    Perfect location for shops, beach and public house. Landlord extremely obliging and professional. Dogs safe in this enclosed garden and house has plenty of room on the ground floor and three decent sized bedrooms. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely welcome pack for us and the dogs. Thank you, would highly recommend and will definitely return.

    Had an excellent time, everything you would need at home for cooking and comfort. Glenn left some towels as we had a good deal of rain and used ours up. Great to have the conservatory to bring he digs into. Lovely little garden for morning/evening wees. Grass areas only a few minutes away and the beach and promenade 5mins away. What more could you ask! Glenn was even so kind as to allow my sister's dog to join us (at late notice) as she had to go to hospital. Definitely be back, and telling all my friends in Nottingham who miss beach walks and freedom. Well done Glenn.

    We had a great week here in November. The house is bigger than it looks and very cosy. The location is perfect with the added benefit of off road parking. It is just a short (20 minute walk) into the main town along the cliff top or (tides permitting) the fantastic beach. The house is very well equipped for a trouble free self catering break. The Bose sound system and Amazon Alexa were used extensively! The owner was extremely helpful with communication prior to the holiday and providing tips on places to visit. We will definitely return.

    3 couples shared the house for 2 days. We attended the Whitby Goth weekend. The house was perfect for our needs. We save money by eating at the house rather then going out for dinner. There is a Lidl at the top of the road. The landlord left us a lovely bottle of wine.
