Cottage was nice, clean and some pretty flowers to welcome us. However, was told 4 steps to property but it was actually eight. Not recommended for anyone who has trouble with stairs. I could only go out once a day and stay out. Once back home I had to stay. Thank goodness the garden was lovely and a nice size. No book was available regarding nearest Dr., vet, pubs that accept dogs, what could be recycled and day of collection etc. However it was in a nice location and easy to get anywhere, and was lovely and quiet.

Bijou cottage, no room to swing a cat in bathroom or kitchen but very good lounge diner. Bedrooms adequate. Garden superb. Sofas clapped out. T'stat control to remote boiler idiosyncratic. Needed to be set to 22/23 to achieve room temp of 20. Light bulbs not all working. Draughty single glazed windows. Needs updating and routine maintenance but still good value for money. Dog friendly, lots of garden birds, nesting when we were there. No wi fi, limited freeview channels. Pub very ordinary but friendly, looking as though time had passed it by, though up to the minute food prices for limited menu of typical pub grub!

Enjoyed the cottage and location ie pub/village shop. The two settees has the sinking feeling (needs replacing) the microwave is unsuitable due to black colour could not see the marking for use. Also using the toilet you had to be careful not being burnt by the radiator. Lovely back garden but no dog bin or lighting at night. There was no welcome tray (which a lot of people leave for new visitors we have been to)

two small and uncomfortable settees, every day items missing, i.e. tooth brush mug, no hand towel at kitchen sink. flowers were a nice touch , but a couple of tea bags and spot of milk would have realy hit the spot on arrival. great garden for dogs, and very warm.

Cottage very pretty and nice and clean. Comfortable beds with quality bedding. A good base for exploring the Broads., especially Hickling. An ice box in the fridge would have been useful for storing ice-cream. Also, a clothes maiden for hanging laundry on when the weather was wet.
