The village’s well-known White Scar Caves are open to the public and has a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake. Walk the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Trail which takes in some impressive cascades. The Dales countryside offers numerous walks and cycle routes, with the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen-y-ghent just a stone’s throw away.
A 20-minute drive will take you to Gisburn Forest which has superb mountain bike trails for all abilities and beautiful woodland walks as well. Perhaps more gentle relaxation is your thing then the Settle to Carlisle railway offers a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery our country has to offer. This is an excellent location from which to explore the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District, the West Coast and the Trough of Bowland. Beach 20 miles.
