The cottage is just a short drive from the secluded, sand and shingle beach in the tiny cliff top hamlet of Bucks Mills, one of the most beautiful villages in North Devon, a secluded hidden gem with pretty white washed cottages speckled along a wooded valley at the end of a no through road. The grassed area opposite the property is owner by the owners and a neighbour, and is an ideal place for picnics and watching the sunset, affording lovely views.
The pretty village of Woolfardisworthy (Woolsery) is just 1½ miles and has a well stocked village store and Post Office for your daily essentials. The popular village inn with its highly acclaimed restaurant and adjacent fish and chip shop is perfect for an evening out or an evening in with fish and chips.
