Tocketts Mill Country Park is a privately owned, 5-star country park nestled in a beautiful valley close to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. We have a selection of caravan holiday homes available some of which are new for 2023 (Savanna and Savanna Pet Friendly) and offer guests a high level of comfort. The park has everything to offer guests either looking for a relaxing break or a more active holiday.

The park itself benefits from a superb country style bar complete with restaurant and Mediterranean-style diner which offers superb quality food all day from breakfast through to evening meals, all set in very comfortable surroundings.

Located just a mile or so from the market town of Guisborough with its mix of independent shops, bars and cafés, many coastal tourism spots are just a short drive away, including the historic town of Whitby, famous for its connections to Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Captain James Cook, who circumnavigated the Endeavour on a voyage of discovery. Other nearby popular seaside resorts include Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Runswick Bay and Sandsend, each with beautiful beaches and boutique shops and bars. Outdoor pursuits are in abundance with nearby surfing, paddle boarding, pony trekking, fishing, and golf. There are many walking and cycling routes.

For those wanting to explore inland, the North Yorkshire Moors, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty, is just a short drive away, as well as the popular market towns of Stokesley, Northallerton and Thornton-le-Dale, which are very popular with tourists. Local public transport is good via bus routes and rail. Tocketts Mill Country Park really is the place for a perfect family holiday or short break.

Diane Bridlington | Other We have just got back home after 5 days staying at Tocketts Mill Country Park. The caravan park is beautiful, set in a valley in woodland with lots of wildlife freely roaming about. There is a restaurant and bar on the park which is very popular. The caravan we stayed in was really nice, clean and homely, with nice touches such as a tray with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The park is situated around 4 miles inland from the beautiful north Yorkshire coast, giving you the best of both worlds exploring the countryside and the many small coastal towns and villages. We will definitely go back again
