We found that in terms of 2024 bookings, there was a whopping 83% uplift in people booking a holiday in Derbyshire for February half term compared to the summer. Part of this could be to do with the ease of getting to locations in Derbyshire. It's pretty central in England, so means its less far to travel for a lot of the country, and as there are no beaches or overtly "summery" attractions that spring to mind, you may not be so worried about what the unrealiabe British weather will do.
