The cottage was comfortable, clean and welcoming with a lovely garden. It had everything one needs for a perfect holiday stay.
Has the wow factor, and so, so comfortable and relaxing! Well set out and equipped, has everything you could need. Great place to have as a base to explore from; there are plenty of places within reasonable distance to go and visit. Can highly recommend a stay!
Lovely welcome pack with a chilled bottle of white wine in the fridge, equipment and cleanliness both excellent. The cottage is dog friendly, although we don't have a pet their was no trace of there been a dog there the previous letting.
Fabulous cottage- very luxurious and everything we needed. Owners really friendly. Bed super comfy. We loved it!!!!
This cottage was five star plus. The owners are lovely people who live next door. We were greeted by a lovely welcome pack of a bottle of wine and water, food stuffs and a wood burning stove ready to light, although the central heating was good. Every item in the cottage, including the
en-suite bathroom were of the highest quality and the king sized bed, extremely comfortable. The area ideal for walkers with many public trails although the local amenities would require transport as they are some distance away. We will be going back and would recommend to others. Ideal for people who like peace and quiet.
We loved our visit. Fabcottage with everything necessary for a great stay.
The cottage will not disappoint as it is finished to an extremely high standard, and has everything you need. We chose the cottage for its location, and were pleased that there are lovely loop walks directly from the cottage.
One of the best cottages we've ever stayed in. Immaculate and warm and comfortable with stylish, quality furnishings and lots of nice details like a wonderful log burner and coffee machine - both with sufficient stocks for our stay.
A beautiful and interesting area too. Not touristy but with great walking and towns nearby.
My wife and I regularly make bookings and Healey Cottage is by far the best accomondation we have enjoyed, the level of detail and comfort is outstanding. The cottage could not be better situated to enjoy the surrounding countryside, plenty of great walks, it’s also a short stroll to two great pubs. Best of all was the very warm welcome from the owners, we have already booked a return stay.
Most lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings.
Home from home.
Absolutely splendid stay!
We enjoyed a romantic couple of nights stay here for my birthday. The cottage is tucked away in a hamlet of about six or seven dwellings. It is beautifully presented and blends traditional cozy comfort with contemporary interior design & gadgets. We both run and this cottage has a network of footpaths right on its doorstep. There's a really good riding school nearby too which does daily hacks. Quality pubs & restaurants are only a short drive away. Local taxi services are good. The owners live next door but they didn't intrude. We certainly felt like we had plenty of peace & privacy. Will definitely stay again. Perfect.
We enjoyed a four nights stay at this lovely cottage, it was more than we ever expected, cozy, clean and comfortable. The welcome package made our stay extra special. The weather was lovely so we managed to go on the many walks that was literally on our doorstep. To have a evening out was only a short drive away.
