    Just got back from a weeks stay at the granary, and I'm missing it already, beautiful accommodation, very well equipped and owners are very helpful. Would highly recommend and like to visit again in the future.

    The Granary is lovely - the phots don’t really do justice to the level of comfort and the high quality of the fittings. We were welcomed with flowers, freshly baked bread, local eggs, wine, chocolates ... there was more than enough crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment (which isn’t always the case) and everything was easy to operate. We loved it and would definitely return.

    In some ways this is a typical holiday cottage -- magnolia walls and dirt-friendly carpet. We stayed at The Granary so we could visit relatives, not a holiday, so a lot of the recommended eateries etc were not tried. The surroundings are a bit tired (semi-derelict house) and there were minor grumbles from previous visitors about dirt treading in the cottage and small shower cubicles. We agree with these comments. However, overall we found the Granary to be excellent. Top quality furnishings and equipment, excellent kitchen, flat screen TV's everywhere, comfortable beds, ultra-smart bathrooms, effective heating, loads of hot water etc etc. The welcome pack and the cleanliness of the property were both truly excellent. We were impressed and thoroughly recommend The Granary and will return....hopefully for a holiday.

    Another superb stay in this fantastic cottage. So clean comfortable and modern, close to some wonderful walks and country pubs. Couldn’t ask for anything more and we will be returning for a 3rd visit soon.

    Excellent accommodation in a clean, warm, modern cottage. Just one suggestion would be to address the surface of the parking area outside the property as it was difficult to prevent muddy feet and paws entering the property. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    The cottage is well equipped with a lovely welcome basket provided. It has been fit out to a high standard with a large open plan lounge/kitchen that is great for socialising. The cleanliness of the cottage is faultless, and unlike some cottages we've stayed at, you'd have no idea this is a dog friendly property. Whilst there aren't any facilities within immediate walking distance, Clitheroe is only a short drive away and has an excellent range of shops, pubs and eateries.

    The Granary wasn’t easy to find (off a private road) so grateful for instructions. Extremely clean, warm, well equipped cottage and very tastefully maintained. The central and Under floor heating kept us all very toasty with no need for the log fire even mid January. The positioning of the fire was lovely but different, and everyone of us tripped up over one of the corners of the hearth ? and we took it in turns to sit on the sofa with restricted view of the TV due to the fire steel chimney. The large floor to ceiling front windows gave in lots of light but unfortunately gave us a view of the car park all weekend so felt very much on view, however this did not spoil the weekend and we felt very much at home here and would highly recommend, especially the comfy beds.

    We have stayed in many cottages over the past few years and this has to be the best. Very spacious, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen, a lovely welcome basket left by the owners was so nice, great location for walks and local market town, will definitely book again

    A wonderful place to stay. We were there for a family wedding and it was a lovely location for the Bride to be picked up from - making for nice pictures. The host's offered a welcome hamper which was a wonderful and welcome gift. I have family in the area and will definitely look at booking again.
