    We really enjoyed our stay at the Alnwick Malthouse. It was very clean and equipped to a high standard. It is ideally located within Alnwick as it was only a short walk into town and Alnwick is centrally located for exploring the wider Northumberland area. It also has the added bonus of an allocated parking space. There was a small amount of noise from the surrounding apartments over the weekend that we arrived, but it didn't go on for an unreasonable amount of time and I suppose that some noise is to be expected in apartment life. We would definitely return to this apartment when we revisit Northumberland in the future.

    This is a very comfortable, well equipped and conveniently located apartment. The photos don't do it justice, as they somehow make the furnishings look rather insubstantial and fragile, which is far from the case. Details have been thought through, and there is just about everything a visitor could want. The apartment is within easy walking distance of everything in Alnwick, and benefits from a supermarket just across the road for daily essentials. We enjoyed visits to all the highlights of the beautiful Northumberland coast, especially enjoying Lindisfarne, Craster and Bamburgh. Highly recommended for couples.

    Being right in the centre of Alnwick is just perfect, it allowed us to visit the castle & the gardens, as well as do several wonderful walks around the town. The apartment was really well equipped & we were not for wanting anything extra. So all in all we had a just the perfect stay & one we would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting the area.

    Excellent modern, comfortable and well-equipped apartment close to the town centre with free parking. A supermarket is across the road if you want to cook but there are many very good pubs to eat within a few minutes walk. Alnwick Castle and gardens are within walking distance and the secondhand bookshop in the old station is huge! There are many excellent, quiet beaches and historical buildings within a short drive. Bamburgh Castle, Cragside and Hadrian’s Wall are recommended.

    Loved our stay in Alnwick. The accommodation was ideally situated for access to the town and local amenities. The castle and gardens are well worth a visit and the film tour at the castle was really interesting, especially for Harry Potter fans. The poison garden tour was an eye opener. Alnmouth 10 minutes away with beautiful beach and train station for travelling into Newcastle if you want t visit a bigger city on your stay. The Blue Bell Inn was our local, close to the flat and very welcoming, both staff and locals. Yen’s take away does a mean chicken and mushroom and Copperfields does a great breakfast and good value for money. Hopefully return another time.
