    Fantastic location for a home from home, very close to busy road so have to be careful coming and going.

    Lovely cottage, the kitchen was fabulous the bathroom was disappointing as the sink was so small, the shower was hard to turn on and off and the bath took ages to fill to 3 inches and when the guest sat in the bath and on to the plug which was in the middle, it let all the water out anyway, so she didn't bother. Also the fence at the side of the garden as you go up the steps is very low and if a dog or child jumped over, it would lead on to a very fast and dangerous road. All it needs is to put another layer of chickenwire on top of the existing fence. The stairs are also very difficult but we warned about them, not good for very elderly people or little children.

    Really lovely cottage, in great condition when we came. Excellent kitchen, comfortable sitting room and bed, splendid bathroom with piping hot water. Steep stairs but we managed! Garden lovely but we were out most of the day and only one evening was warm enough to be in it. Small gripes: the duvet was really too small for the bed, only just covering the mattress. The tv was difficult to operate for the IT-challenged - no instructions - and catch-up didn’t work at all (breaking up the whole time). There was a leak in the hot water tap in the bathroom washbasin. We had a wonderful time. The dog was in her element with the multiplicity of walks and we loved those, too, as well as Osborne, Carusbrooke, Mottistone and the Garlic Farm.

    Lovely character cottage in a great location well equipped & very comfortable local pub just a short walk away serving really good food all of the islands attractions are no more the a thirty minute drive or less. Very pleased with this booking and would fully recommend it unless you have mobility issues as the stairs are quite steep.

    We loved the cottage . Kitchen was well equipped and had. A nice ambiance. However the settee let the lounge down to to the point one end had collapsed . The upstairs was very cosy with a well fitted bathroom . We were lucky to use the garden and the very nice summer house .
