Lovely cottage, good location for everything yet very peaceful. Lovely enclosed garden for our dog. We had a lovely long weekend here and will definitely return.

Cottage is in a great location in Charmouth, very peaceful and within walking distance to all you need including the beach. Would definitely rebook in the future. The only downside for us was we found the sofa and armchairs uncomfortable.

Wonderful cottage, and a beautiful village. Very pretty, clean and cozy. I'm sure the garden would be a fantastic place to relax in the summer months too. Perfect for the dogs, especially being a stone's throw from the beach! All amenities we needed were within very easy walking distance. Lots of lovely villages and towns nearby to visit too, and plenty of dog friendly places. We had a fantastic week, and were very sad to leave! The only very slight disappointment for us was the lack of WiFi, meaning we couldn't watch streamed TV in the evenings while snuggled up in front of the fire, though I don't think we'd have missed that had we visited in the summer.

We absolutely loved this beautiful cottage. Hope to visit again someday soon.

We do love this cottage and owners are so accommodating

Cosy cottage, home from home and all you need for a short break. Car parking a bit of an issue.

As soon as we arrived at this quant cottage we relaxed. The lovely little touches of kindness such as the fresh bread, milk and biscuits made us feel very welcomed. Everything is perfect for a winter holiday break with comfy bed, log fire and central heating making it cosy and inviting. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach with our dogs and with the dry weather we were out and about both days. We walked into Lyme Regis for lunch along the beach, which I can highly recommend. We had such a lovely time and hopefully will be coming back next year to this lovely cottage.

Excellent location for fossil beach. Third visit cleanliness not as usual needs a dust ,cobwebs assume for halloween ! Upstairs shower poor. Bins not emptied outside, bag and bucket of ash.Grate completely full of ash.Had to change bottom pillowcases. P.O. gone but locals friendly.Pubs and chippy good.

We enjoyed our stay at Apple Tree Cottage. Good garden for our dogs which is always a plus for us . Where the cottage is situated is great, walk to Charmouth beach in 10 minutes on a pathway , and 15-20 minutes in the car to Lyme Regis and West Bay , Chideock and Bridport.. Pub is more or less next door, an old pub , not noisy or loud.. chip shop, chemist newsagents and a Nisa all in the same road as the cottaage. We would say that everything you need is close by and all is very convenient .

I had to clean the bathroom and kitchen on arrival. Had food stains on tiles & inside the fridge. The shower was covered in dirt & hair & the toilet had not been cleaned at all! Did contact the owner to complain & received a small refund.

Beautiful cottage lovely decor and use of a large secluded garden ideal for breakfast and lunch on the decking!! Very near to all facilities too. Only downfall is more hanging space and drawers for clothes in master bedroom as the wardrobes are full of the owners property. Would highly recommend this cottage and will certainly be back!!

Ideal base for exploring Dorset coast. Comfortable with good local amenities. Would go again.
