Ard Taigh is a very large bungalow - the main living room is huge and comfortably fitted the nine people staying during our rental. Facilities are excellent, with a very well equipped kitchen and nice sports facilities in the large garage area. Everything was very well maintained and there was easy parking on the property for four cars. Beautiful views down Loch Tay and a very well-maintained garden. The house is positioned in a small hamlet with the nearest supermarket in Aberfeldy and nearest cafes and hotel four miles along the road. There is no immediate access to the lake from the village, so expect to travel a bit to do anything active.

Absolutely Amazing Cottage!! For a family of 10, this cottage was perfect, and really was a home from home. The location is completely away from any shops, which is a shame if you need to pop out to get something quickly, but we did an Asda online delivery which helped, and you have plenty of shops a few miles drive. A car is definitely required when staying at this property. The views from the cottage are awe inspiring, and the cottage has everything you require to make yourself at home. The living room is ideal for large families, so comfortable, warm and inviting. The games room in the garage was the highlight of our trip, as it brought everyone together and we all enjoyed the various games there. The cottage is ideal for anyone who has accessibility issues as it is all on ground level. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and suit the purpose, though 3 bedrooms (both doubles and a twin room) are slightly on the smaller side, but this really is not an issue. The bathrooms were lovely, all high standard and hot water all day long, and not a single bad thing to say about them. The kitchen was to an exceptional spec and standard, was a social space, and had every utensil, pot, pan, cutlery, etc. that was required, and having the dishwasher was perfect. The laundry room was extremely handy also and was used a couple of times. I cannot fault the property, or the communication from the owners, who were always available and answered my questions promptly, and if I had to state a criticism, it would be that the property should have standalone fans supplied. The reason for this is due to how hot the property gets, especially in the evening, and as a result, you have no choice but to open the doors/windows for fresh air, but this then allows the midge's and insects in, and that can become very uncomfortable. We still ensured doing this did not spoil the stay, and I could not recommend this property highly enough. The stay was 100% perfect, gave us excellent memories, and waking up to stunning views made it worth every penny!!

Lovely location, beautiful and well stocked house ( thankfully with ample cupboard space). The garden and surrounds are lovely, as are the views. All in all, it is the perfect place to relax and to use as a base for exploring and/or, as in our case, celebrating a significant family birthday. Thank you.
