    Property has electric heaters and comprises:
    Open plan lounge/dining/ kitchen
    Lounge Area: With TV and DVD.
    Kitchen Area: With electric cooker, microwave, fridge with ice box and washer/dryer.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 1: With double bed
    Bedroom 2: With full sized bunk beds
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, WC and wash basin.

    All fuel, power, bed linen and towels included. There is a traditional cot available kept under the bunk beds. Please advise at time of booking if required.

    Ash Cottage is a quaint white washed 18th century traditional fisherman’s cottage and sits in a small terrace adjacent to The Cottage Inn, renowned for its good food and welcoming atmosphere.  Dunstan is a friendly hamlet only a mile from the picturesque fishing port of Craster, famous world wide for its oak smoked kippers and the film location for Distant Shores.   There are excellent regular bus connections with Alnwick and the railway station at Alnmouth is easily accessible too - and with a local pub, restaurant and shop within walking distance then travelling by car isn’t essential.

    Great location for surrounding areas to visit. Parking is probably the only slight issue but didn't hinder the holiday in any way. Would highly recommend.

    This very small cottage is in an excellent location next to a pub which does excellent food, and beautiful walks from the door. It is well equipped and has beds for 4, however it would be very cosy for four people. Ideal for a couple. If it matters the mobile signal is not brilliant, no Wi-fi, however that is available in the pub.
