Great for a secluded retreat getaway. Location perfect for walks and our two dogs. Very picturesque setting and plenty to do. Well equipped cabin with Aga which kept us very cosy! Nice welcome on arrival and host on hand if you need anything. Would definitely revisit in the future.

Fantastic place for walks and dog walking loved the surrounding woodlands, very peacefull and sucluded. Agreat place to get away from the rat race. No mobile phone signal. Need to use car for local amenities and places of interest. Lyn was a great host and very helpful.

Myself, Hubby and our two barky dogs loved our stay. Lyn provided us with a lovely cream tea and a smile on arrival just what we needed after a long journey. Cabin itself is country cute but also bigger than I expected. Had a dishwasher which is great as who wants to do the dishes on holiday and the Aga was easy to get used actually fun to use it to do toast, to but it keeps the cabin quite warm. It must be so cosy in winter as theres also a log burner in the living room. Well secured large garden for the dogs. We didn't explore the surrounding land as one of our doggies was recovering from surgery but lots of birds visit the garden. Definitely a digital detox with no phone or data signal but that added to the charm - well at least that's what I thought Hubby would welcome wifi. Only grumble is that it could do with a bigger bed currently a double just a bit too small for us larger folk. Would recommend to any couple with doggies. Lyn and her pack of 5 beautiful dogs were very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay.

An absolutely fabulous holiday in the most amazing setting. The peace and tranquility is second to none. Lyn is a an amazing host, the cream tea and Prosecco on arrival are Devine.we cannot recommend the cabin highly enough. If you want to escape the rat run and reconnect to nature this is the place for you. We came home feeling very rested and rejuvenated. Thankyou Lyn.

Lovely warm cabin in an idealistic place.

Beautiful and peaceful Devonshire countryside. Cabin exceeded our expectations, fully equipped, cooking on an Aga was a great experience, fantastic dog walks, would definitely return!

A beautiful cottage in a picturesque woodland setting. Very well appointed property and extremely comfortable. Access is down an unmade track which may catch low-slung vehicles out. Dogs are very welcome and garden is enclosed with woodland tracks straight from the back gate. Owners dogs don't mix with other dogs so a simple flag system indicating when you are taking your dogs out works well. The local village has no amenities so nearest village shops are about 10 mins on narrow lanes. A very peaceful location with lots of wildlife. Lyn is very welcoming and helpful.

Such a tranquil place. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed walking in the grounds. Whatever the weather this is such an isolated treat. The cabin is extremely spacious and very relaxing. Using the aga was also something that added to the experience. The modern world disappeared for a few days which is exactly what we wanted.
