Overall we had a wonderful family holiday here. The location is very remote which we wanted but half-day trips to Bude and Clovelly were very easily achieved.Bedrooms were all great, plenty of living/dining room for all 12 of us. Good games room with nice equipment all in working order and very clean and nice outdoor play area for the kids. Small negative -tea towels need upgrading! Also, we used the hot tub sparingly as it was very noisy (loud screeching and we were concerned there was a problem. The Hart Inn in nearby Hartland is a brilliant pub which is owned by the same people (Laura was very helpful). Would definitely recommend for a family break -we were aged 66 years down to 7 months and ALL of us had a brilliant, memorable weekend.

Amazing house, peaceful, beautifully decorated, well equipped, very spacious, lots of character. Only improvement would be a quite hot tub, it was too noisy to have the bubbles on.

Stunning cottage in a gorgeous setting! You might be in the middle of nowhere, but this adds to the charm. Any issues were sorted quickly and nothing was too much trouble. Only recommendation would be to fence off part off the grassed area of the cottage so you can sit out the back and enjoy the views with the dogs being secure. Would definitely go back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing place and great location! The views are amazing!! I can not fault the place and great value for money if you have a big family/group. So much space and your not all squished into a tiny room so we weren’t on top of each other. The only thing I would say that there wasn’t any outdoor heating. It would be even better if there was a fire pit or a chiminea so you can stay outside longer and enjoy the sunset a little bit longer. We are definitely returning next year for sure!! We had a great time

We were a party of 10 who didn't all know each other very well. The cottage was excellent as it had loads of space and rooms. Really clean and catered for all our needs. The hot tub was a real hit.

A wonderful house in a great location. Suited our party of three generations - 6 adults and 4 children aged between 4 and 6 year’s. Plenty of room, spacious living room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. The owners are lovely, showing us around the farm and the animals, including Hank the donkey and a flock of Herdwicks. Great walk down to the beach with spectacular views and great sunsets. Games room with pool table, table tennis and skittles was great for a rainy day. Also an outdoor play area with swings, climbing frame and a trampoline.
