Alnwick with the ducal castle, famous for the scenes in Harry Potter, is only a few miles drive. Travel into the National Park on an evening and sample ‘The Dark Skies’. The cottage is a great location for ramblers, cyclists, golfers or fisherman, with Caistron Trout Fishery only 2 miles away.
