Cottage is in a lovely location with beautiful scenery over the Loch, cottage is a bit dated but it was clean and had everything you needed, would've been nice to have a barbecue and a firepit.

Lovely cosy cottage in idyllic location

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The property had been well cleaned and there were plenty of spare towels and bedding. Well furnished overall but could do with some chairs in the bedrooms. The TV could be upgraded, apart from that very happy with what was provided. Very quiet lochside setting ideal for people with dogs. Well stocked small shops in Strachur and a Co-Op in Inverary provide for most daily needs. Had some fantastic meals at The Creggans Inn in Strachur and Samphire in Inverary. Overall well recommended.

Simply beautiful location central to a number of fantastic visitor attractions such as Benmore Gardens, Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, Ardkinglas Gardens and Loch Fyne Ales Brewery. Great for day trips to Inveraray, Oban and Dunoon. This is our second visit in two years and is only 200 yards from my maternal grandfather’s home at the Shieling (now Shield Cottage). Would thoroughly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in a veritable ‘home from home.’ It has absolutely everything you need including a cosy open fire with well stocked wood pile. Excellent value for money. Will definitely book again.

We spent a lovely week here over New Year. The cottage was so cosy with everything you would need. The location is just idyllic and so quiet and peaceful, we loved it. There was some great pubs not too far away serving good food but we did also eat in the cottage, it had everything we needed.

The cottage was cosy and warm, and the location on the Loch is spectacular. I looked forward to opening the curtains to see what the view had in store for us each morning. The cottage was generally clean, but the utensils and cups and plates in the kitchen needed a washin the dishwasher before we could use them. The washing machine was unusable as it looked like it had been used to wash a dog! Two empty cycles wouldn't get rid of the dog hair and so we gave up. With three young kids were relying on that to be able to recycle clothes. There is only one bathroom & toilet and so we found that annoying with five of us wanting to use the facilities in the morning.

Had a very relaxing holiday! Cottage was superb views & the location was idea. Easy to get to. Plenty of places to see & visit. I would totally book again & recommend this cottage to a friend(s).

Great location, straight onto the beach to catch mackerel (mainly), no hazards for dogs & a peaceful environment. Well equipped and even an assortment of books and DVD's!!! The Loch Fyne Oyster bar is well worth a visit, not the most inexpensive of eateries but you are paying for the quality that you get. A visit around Inverary Castle is interesting as is a tasting session in one of the Inverary whisky shops (leave your plastic card in the cottage - I didn't!!!). Overtime for the foreseeable............
