Lovely cottage in a peaceful location with sea views and a short walk to a very quiet beach. Perfect for a chill-out week. Although you can walk along the cliff path to Ventnor it is a fair way, otherwise you will need a car to travel to the many and varied local places of interest. The nearby post Office/shop has all the basics though. Dog friendly.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area, a chance to relax with interesting places to visit within easy reach.

Looking very tired. Bathroom needs proper cleaning. Garden is NOT suitable for children due to overgrown spiky plants, my Husband had several wounds on legs which bled. It needs major garden clearance to make it useable. TV is minute and need a updating.

If you are looking for complete peace and quiet then Beech cottage has it. The location is superb for access to coastal walks and beaches. The cottage is small but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We have stayed at Beech cottage on many occasions for the peaceful location and its access to wonderful walks. A huge bonus is that we can take our dogs who love the wonderful coastal walks.

The cottage was lovely and clean and nicely furnished and the welcome pack was a nice touch. Our problem was how cold it was, the electric heaters provided bearly any heat and didnt warm a whole room up, the one in the bedroom didnt work properly and we were freezing all night and there wasnt enough wood provided to burn the fire with, what little we had wasnt enough to warm the room up. Parking was a nightmare and could bearly get our car in the gates of the house. Maybe staying in the summer would be a better experience but would not reccomend the winter here.

Only thing missing was a local pub(such a shame) but other than that a great place to chill out.

A very quiet and relaxing ho!iday. Dog friendly cove few mins walk from cottage, beware it's steep steps down and a scramble over rocks! Cottage on coastal path so lovely for walks. Small village so only 1 shop but it's well stocked and it's also a post office. Lovely small garden with sea view, secure but big dogs may jump over wall. Hardly any traffic, very peaceful.

Lovely cottage, the only downside for us was the location. Quite a distance from Vetnor, Shanklin, Sandown and Rhyde Otherwise I would certainly recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to stay in a quiet location.
