Bel-Mar is a lovely holiday cottage set on a working farm close to the Isle of Whithorn and has the most fabulous views out across Wigtown Bay. Bel-Mar is spacious and comfortable with stunning views from almost every room so whether you are just relaxing in the living room or enjoying a family meal in the dining room you can make the most of the view. The conservatory is a lovely sunny spot to while away a few hours reading or just enjoying the heat of the afternoon sun.

The Isle of Whithorn, only 3 miles away, is an attractive little harbour village on the Machars Peninsula where you can enjoy a meal in the village pub and restaurant. Visit Wigtown, which has officially been designated as Scotland’s National Book Town with a wide range of book related businesses, a book lovers haven. The larger town of Newton Stewart known as the Gateway to the Galloway Hills, also has many excellent shops and places to eat.
