Everything was fab apart from few minor things in relation to cleanliness but would definitely go back, thanks

Great accommodation in a great place

Furniture and double bed very comfortable unfortunately little things like blunt knives in the kitchen and really old cutlery made things difficult. Seal on the oven was coming away so wasn't sure if the temperatures were accurate The bathroom toilet seat was loose, shower was really awful needs replacing urgently. If all of these things were addressed this house would be ideal

Superb position in a comfortable well equipped bungalow. Fantastic views over the mountains, so good that we never sat in the front room and just sat in the conservatory. The bed was very comfy. All amenities close at hand.

Excellent, week we will be back

Our family stayed at Birch Tree Cottage for a couple of nights in early January 2019. The cottage was a lot bigger than we initially thought. Certainly big enough to accommodate the 5 of us. Three adults and two teenagers. The cottage was really more of a small bungalow house. But very spacious inside and very comfortable. The dining room / conservatory with its own wood burning stove is located at the back of the house and has some spectacular views of open farmland beyond. There were cows in the field behind the house which added to the charm. The rooms were clean and well presented. The shared bathroom was spotlessly clean and more than adequate for everyone's needs. There is also a spacious lounge, with couches and a TV. Wi-Fi throughout. It was our little home away from home while we enjoyed our visit to Aviemore. We enjoyed our stay at Birch Tree Cottage and would happily return for another visit.

The cottage is a bit tired, but overall was warm and comfortable. There were loads of things that we would have expected from a 4* cottage that were missing. A decent instruction manual, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, matches and firefighters for the stove, fruit knife, non slip bath mat etc.

Quite a way,on foot, into Aviemore and we didn’t feel safe walking back after dark. Having said that, the accommodation itself was perfect for us. Shower could do with a bit more power.

Just back from a week at Birch tree. Everything was really good apart from shower needs a bit of attention, very slow and head needs cleaned or replaced. Everything else was spot on. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage have stayed many times over the past few years, could maybe do with some upgrading especially the family bathroom. But overall would thoroughly recommend this cottage.
