Fabulous place, far from crowds. Lovely cottage and loved the layout of the cottage with bed rooms downstairs. Fantastic walks and just magical landscapes. Good recycling but remember towels(I forgot).

Great place for a remote holiday if you do not want pubs, shops, noise and bluster on your doorstep.

Had the most relaxing fantastic holiday ever. Couldn't fault this cottage. Completely rural and isolated, in the middle of a mountain valley, away from everything, which is what I was after - zero people, zero roads, zero shops, zero internet, zero phone line. Extremely quiet. No sound during the day or night + pitch black at night. Although the weather wasn't too kind to us & was a bit cold, the heating came on at perfect times & it was toasty warm during our stay. This is my perfect property I would love to live in as my own home. Completely bliss. This cottage is a close drive to the hardnott pass, which is absolutely breathtaking & stunning to drive or walk, walking distance from the magical stanlley falls, and so close to many other beautiful lakes & memorable walks. Will definitely be returning to this stunning cottage, hopefully 2019 Christmas + new year or summer 2020.

If you want to get away from it all this cottage is for you ! Set in stunning scenery the cottage provided everything we needed to enjoy the fantastic landscape outside. The beds are very comfortable as are the sofas, everything you need after long walks and there are so many walks straight from the door. You will need to stock up as the nearest supermarket is an hour away, there are a couple of local shops selling basics within 20 minutes drive. Will definitely be back, top marks gorgeous place to stay.
