Please note No children under 5 years old.\n\n Blackbird House is an attractive stone-built terraced Regency property situated in the historic market town of Alnwick. The property oozes character and charm and the homely living room has a gorgeous open fire to snuggle in front of after a day exploring the stunning area that surrounds Alnwick. There is a bespoke dining kitchen also on the ground floor and both double bedrooms and fresh family bathroom are situated on the first floor. Blackbird House is located within Lisburn Street which is only a gentle stroll from the centre of Alnwick where there are ample facilities to enjoy including shops pubs and restaurants. The majestic fortress of Alnwick Castle is within walking distance too. Alnwick Garden is also a wonderful visitor attraction close by where guests can dine in the unique tree house restaurant and admire the grand cascade waterfall. Guests will also enjoy a visit to Alnwick Playhouse where regular films and performances are shown. The beautiful market town of Rothbury is a short drive west and the stunning Heritage Coastline this area is renowned for is a short drive east making Blackbird House a superb base from which to explore this glorious county.     Perfect location for exploring Northumberland whilst also allowing you to walk to local restaurants and bars in an evening. Lovely log fire. Very comfortable beds. Stayed for a second time we like it there so much!

    A very well situated house in close walking distance from some of Alnwick's main attractions.

    Attractively decorated and furnished Georgian terrace. Very clean and well equipped. 4 mins walk to town centre and supermarket. Alnwick itself is well placed for both coast and ‘interior’. Only downsides are the lack of parking and traffic noise at front of house from what is a relatively busy road.

    Loved the house so much could quite happily have moved in permanently. The design of the house is gorgeous, especially the bathroom which we both agreed was nicer than our own. Thank you for a wonderful week.

    Area was quite rough. Dog next door barked all day and evening until 2am when owners came back. I had a full poo bag left on door step. Also quite noisy with drinkers walking up street and as there is no garden at front, they are literally walking past your front window. For the price, I was expecting a better area. Sheets had black marks on them and toilet wasn't clean. Lounge was quite dark. Kitchen was well equipped though.

    We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Great location, just a short walk into Alnwick town centre. Good base for exploring the area. Loved the original features in the house. The house was well equipped and really clean. Comfortable beds.
