A few things weren't working. Plus grass in the garden needed cutting. These little things make a huge difference.

Great location, nice cottage with great facilities. The only issue was the cleanliness. Cobwebs everywhere! In the shower, in the bedrooms, kitchen...not the owners fault but needs a deep clean before we go back. Could also invest in some comfortable pillows!

The cottage was everything we could have wished for - very well presented and well equipped. Feels very spacious, although the lounge area is a little small, for just two of us it was great. The garden is perfect, our dog definitely enjoyed being outside in the sunshine when it finally arrived. The location is ideal for exploring this area of Cornwall. We love Falmouth so it's perfect for visiting there and also close enough to relatives on The Lizard for plenty of catch-up time. All in all excellent. Already checking for next year.

Housekeeper returned after 3pm to clean up dog mess from previous hire. Said sorry but did not have time during day! Had trouble with thermostat control for heating. Housekeeper could not correct. Took my mobile number to have someone call back and advise later same evening. Did not happen. Had to call again next day. Call went to answer phone. I was contacted later in the morning & a man came & set thermostat. Said he thought that would work, but really needed to find operating instructions. He then left. Heating still didn't work. The following day I found instructions in a kitchen draw covered in various screw drivers, light bulbs etc. & set myself. At least 5 light bulbs did not work & the toilet door off the kitchen would not bolt as the door has dropped. Two fence panels in the garden were blown into the car park by the gales we had on the Thursday night. I called on Friday morning to advise that I had recovered them from the car park to prevent possible damage to parked cars & had placed them in the garden. The call went to answer phone. No one had the manners to call back.Although very equiped, I would not recommend this property.

Great place and lovely cottage, great dog space and loved swanpool beach

We were very happy with the facilities at the cottage, except for the state of the saucepans and trays in the cupboard, I understand that some guests standards are not our own and do not respect non stick cookware etc. The wok was unusable and the pans all needed cleaning before use, the trays were covered in grease. The knives were wonderful however, a pleasure to use. the surrounding countryside was lovely and also peaceful, we slept very well. I am a person who suffers with a bad back and really only found the dining chairs comfortable, with a cushion to support my lower back. I do appreciate you cannot please all of the people all of the time. But it was a lovely cottage and very spacious.
