Set in a rural located just 2.5 miles from the popular village of Askrigg, in the pretty hamlet of Woodhall is ’Bloomer’s Bothy’. Full of charm and character this quaint studio has been carefully converted by the owners to provide the perfect escape with stunning views across the Dales to Addleburgh. The studio accommodation provides a bedroom area which can be curtained off for privacy, and there is a solid fuel stove in the sitting area. The dining area comes with a dining table and chairs and the kitchen is well equipped providing everything that you are likely to need to make your holiday memorable and enjoyable. The studio has a south facing patio overlooking the river Ure and Addleburgh.
Woodhall is situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and is perfectly placed for exploring the area. It is perfect for walking and cycling, and the owners can offer a storage area for your bicycles upon request. The James Herriot fans amongst you can seek out ’Darrowby’ as you explore the streets of Askrigg. Aysgarth Falls are just a short distance away, or you may wish to discover Burton Force waterfall in the picturesque village of West Burton. For historians, the magnificent Bolton Castle where Mary Queen of Scotts was imprisoned for six months is just along the dale. Shop and pub 2½ miles, restaurant 8 miles.
