The cottage was lovely, clean and comfortable with everything we could need, even bowls, treats, poo bags and a ball for the dog, Jasper says thanks very much. We appreciated the welcome pack especially the prosecco Thankyou very much. The garden and beech hut were lovely and as the weather was excellent most of the time we made full use of them. Craster is a quiet village which is why we chose it, but the pubs and restaurant there are very good. We had a great holiday and would love to go back.

Craster a very pretty place to stay, cottage in a very quiet location but within a couple of minutes walking distance from some good restaurants. People very welcoming. Some fantastic walking both coastal and inland. We were fortunate with the weather and visited some great places. Amenities sparse but we knew this and went prepared.

We absolutely loved Bramble Cottage and Craster itself - a vast and beautiful coastline complemented by a lovely, cosy cottage with log burner at the end of long, lovely days out - we would definitely go back!

This is a lovely cottage. It is clean, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The garden is secure for the dogs. The cafe and pub are both extremely friendly and comfortable and again, dog friendly. Lovely walk along the coast in both directions. We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins in the sea just off the castle. We would recommend Bramble Cottage.

Lovely cottage, fresh, clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed putting the wood burner at night and chilling out in front of the TV. Great walks on the doorstep and a good pub within 50 metres, we had a great time and wish we had booked for longer.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Thoughtfully equipped, spacious and lots of information provided to help you enjoy your stay. The local pub, serving delicious food, not 200yds from the door, excellent food at the local cafe and stunning scenery and refreshing walks to enjoy - even seals if you're lucky! This cottage would suit a young family and older. We have no hesitation in recommending Bramble Cottage: a real home-from-home. My favourite, though, was watching sunrise from the harbour.

A wonderful cosy cottage - log burner really made it! Had to mark down for ‘local amenties’ as not a lot in Craster but we knew that before we went so no problem. Pub was lovely. House fantastic, location great... would definitely return.

Absolutely stunning cottage in great location. The property is spacious, clean and is equipped with everything you need. The wood burner was just what we needed on the chilly autumn nights. This was the best place in the UK we’ve ever rented. Would recommend it to anyone and would love to come back again!

Bramble cottage is a lovely comfy, family-friendly holiday home. The location is very quite which gave us a very peaceful week. It’s only a short walk to the harbour, so a nice evening stroll after a days walking was a delight, watching the tide and enjoying a drink at the Fisherman’s was very relaxing. The cottage is well equipped and extremely clean, the owners left a lovely welcome bottle of Prosecco which we enjoyed with our Sunday lunch. The beds are very comfortable so we slept like logs every night. The cottage has its own drive for one car which is fine providing the cottage opposite doesn’t leave their car to close making it difficult to get in/out. I will be booking this cottage again for sure and I would definitely recommend it for a couple or family group. Having WiFi easily makes up for the lack of a phone signal, it’s up to you just how much contact you want to have with the outside world. This is most certainly a place for nature lovers and walkers with or without children and or dogs, the area is perfect with the best of both worlds, beach and countryside, Craster to Low Newton coastal walk is magnificent whatever time of year you visit. If your a golfer then this is a great place for a group golfing holiday, Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course offers an exceptional links golf challenge. Take binoculars, water, snacks and a camera with you always because you always see something new and you always stay out longer than you intended.

We enjoyed a lovely week at Bramble Cottage! The cottage is beautifully presented, very well equipped, comfortable, welcoming and immaculately clean. Very careful consideration has been given to ensure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. Craster is a lovely coastal village and Bramble Cottage is in a great position in the heart of the village, it makes a lovely base in which to stay to explore this beautiful, unspoilt coastline.

Well presented property. Parking in the driveway was awkward. Toilet cistern dripped when refilling - really annoying when trying to get to sleep. Only niggles though. We enjoyed our stay and the pub at the bottom of the lane is fantastic.
