We really enjoyed our stay at Breacwell Cottage over the New Year. The cottage was warm, comfy and had everything we needed. The welcome gifts of wine, shortbread and warm homemade bread were a lovely touch. Joyce even left some biscuits out for our dog. The view onto Loch Migdale was gorgeous. We were lucky to have great weather so could enjoy a lovely walk along the banks of the loch. We enjoyed a great day at Dornoch too as it was only a short drive away. We would definitely book this cottage again.

Lovely well appointed cottage with everything we needed. Superb outlook over Loch Migdale. We sat in the sunroom a lot, relaxing enjoying the views till the sun set. Excellent walking from the door along the loch side and through beautiful woodland. What is there not to like. A lovely bonus was the home made bread,a bottle of wine, shortbread and milk in the fridge. Joyce and Gus are excellent hosts.

Excellent holiday cottage in a beautiful location. Joyce ,the owner ,was very welcoming and went the extra mile by making bread , providing shortbread and a nice bottle of wine.

One of the best properties we’ve ever stayed in, with gorgeous views, brilliant location and absolutely everything you could ever need provided. The welcome gift of the most delicious homemade bread and a bottle of excellent red wine was very much appreciated and enjoyed by all. The cottage was very well appointed; we ate at home several evenings and every utensil needed was there. Can not fault this property at all, I would highly recommend it to all.
