We had a lovely few days at the Brewery House Cottage. It is very well appointed and contains everything you might need during your stay. It is furnished in A charming, cottagey style. One little suggestion for improvement: the mattress in the front bedroom is a little worn and should probably be replaced. Otherwise, the cottage is a perfect home away from home in an excellent location, providing a comfy base for exploring the North East.

Really nice cottage. Thanks for making us welcome and highly recommended. clean, nice front room, kitchen etc. We will be visiting again for sure.

Cosy cottage and lovely owners, who we met at the pub a number of times during our stay. I'm sure we'll return. Our dog loved it too!

Lovely cottage in very good condition, nice touches like shower gel, shampoo, bath robes and slippers, friendly owner who is next door and made us feel very welcome. Found the front door keys a bit stiff and the bathroom door lock didn’t seem to work but they are only tiny things as overall its a really nice place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and clean cottage. Owner lives in adjacent cottage and made us welcome with recommendations for local walking and eating at the local pub about 50 yards away. Can fully endorse the pub recommendation as the variety on the menu was quite extensive (as were the portions!). Would certainly think of returning if we were looking for another mid-week break in the area.

A very well equipped cottage in a quiet village. The owner, Jim, is a very helpful and friendly individual and provides an exceptionally generous welcome pack. Very clean and cosy, I can whole heartedly recommend this cottage.

A beautiful cottage, so very comfortable with everything you need to make your holiday special. A lovely welcome pack, and lots of little touches for you and your 4 legged friends! I would definitely recommend this cottage to others and would stay here again if we wanted to revisit the area. I can’t praise it highly enough.

Just a bit dated and tired. Location not brilliant and area I guess has seen better days. Needs a welcome pack to introduce the house and local facilities. Being dog friendly a real bonus of course.
