Enclosed patio and furniture. Garage 1 car. Parking 1 car. No smoking.\n This delightful semi-detached single storey holiday property is situated on the edge of the Lakeland town of Cockermouth. It has a enclosed rear garden which is ideal for relaxing on warm summer evenings. Cockermouth is a bustling market town with small shops museums art centre and eating places and is best known as the birthplace of William Wordsworth. It makes an ideal location for exploring the northern and western Lake District as well as the Solway Coast. The Lorton Valley and the Lakes of Buttermere Loweswater Ennerdale and Wast Water offer stunning scenery and walks to suit all ages and types. The city of Carlisle with its medieval fortress Hadrians Wall and Scottish Border are all within an easy drive.     A lovely welcome from Helen to a spotlessly clean home from home. Very comfortable beds ensured a great nights sleep. Everything we needed for a fab week in Cockermouth which we loved

    Lovely bungalow with everything you could possibly need. Beautifully furnished and finished, especially bedding and curtains etc. Will definitely go again when we want to visit North West lakes.

    Well equipped and pleasant bungalow. A little bit of a walk to the shops so needed the car on occasion but as town was very nice this was no burden. Welcoming host.

    Very nice clean house in a quiet area. However, it was quite small inside (when three people were seated at the kitchen table, one person had to get up and move their chair in order to open the fridge/freezer door). If you wanted to seat more than three people, you had to move them into the conservatory. The heating worked fine - except in the bedrooms where it seemed to be turned off.

    Lovely bungalow with everything we needed but would have been a bit crowded for 4 people due to restricted space for dining in the kitchen. Lots of walks nearby and even more within 10 miles.

    Lovely place to stay, very clean and has everything you need. Had a call from Helen on day of arrival to ensure we knew were everything. A very comfortable and pleasant stay and will be booking again
