    A nice apartment in a quiet cul de sac in bowness. New kitchen and bathroom. All very clean, nice balcony. Ideal as a base for windermere area,did not use car all week. Lots of walks nearby.

    We had a fantastic week staying in Briarwood. The apartment is so well appointed that we didn’t need the majority of things we had taken - the kitchen and bathroom are really well stocked. The kitchen is brand new and is lovely (not the same as the photos online). The apartment was very clean and comfortable. No cushions on the sofa due to COVID so maybe take one for your back if you need it. The apartment is a short walk to town - just a couple of minutes. The nearest pub is the Angel and they do very nice food and drink. There is parking at the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it. Our appreciation to the owners for making it so nice, especially the kitchen!

    Home from home. Dedicated parking. Not our first time here , and won't be the last Ideal position, plenty of places to eat and drink within 15 min walk. Most are even closer, choice of two supermarkets (Tesco and Coop).

    Wonderful find. The apartment was well presented and offered us everything we needed. It has both a usable garage and car port due to the style of building so perfect to just park up and explore. It is a bit dated decor wise but everything worked and there was more than enough room. Plenty of books, jigsaws and dvds/music for when you are too tired to walk anymore. Be aware that there is no freezer just a small ice compartment in the fridge but if you are not staying for longer than a week this is workable. There is a bit of a steep hill into Bowness which can be a chore after being out walking all day but it is thankfully a short hill. The apartment is in a small culdesac which is so lovely and quiet you will be surprised by just how close you are to town.
