Come and uncover the delights of Bronrhiw. This delightful characterful cottage is situated in the centre of the charming village of Newport Pembrokeshire and has been restored by its current owners in 2022 to a very good standard throughout. Decorated in warm and bold colours, it offers a welcoming style. This delightful end-terrace cottage is teeming with character with original beams, slate flooring and exposed stone walls. With a wood burner as well, this cottage really is the perfect holiday for family and friends to enjoy. The well-equipped kitchen is the ideal place for cooking that special meal, and there is a separate dining room too. The games room is a great place where your children can enjoy games or a good book. Each bedroom has been lovingly furnished to provide a good night’s sleep and has en-suite facilities.
Newport is overlooked by its Norman castle, has a boat club and two beaches. There are award winning restaurants, cafés, pubs, bank, post office, library with internet access, great butchers, antique and health food shops to explore. The tidal estuary is paradise for bird watchers and for golfers, there is also a challenging links golf course nearby.
The town of Fishguard is around a 10-minute drive away, with an array of cafés, eateries and pubs. Be sure to visit the pretty harbour at Lower Fishguard, where you can enjoy coffee and a cake or freshly caught lobster at the quay café or try your hand at kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding. Take a trip to the famous city of St David’s, Britain’s smallest city, at the most westerly point of Wales, with its spectacular cathedral and Bishops Palace. Numerous opportunities for water sports are available nearby to explore the dramatic coastline, such as surfing at Whitesands, coasteering and boat trips.
