Dapple Cottage is light, airy and contemporary quality is superbly juxtaposed with the cosy quirky cottage feel. The spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area is beautifully finished with hand-picked understated décor and fresh flowers from the farmhouse garden (when in bloom). French doors lead onto the bijou south facing terrace, perfect for enjoying evening drinks or a sunny al fresco meal. The cottage has two kingsize bedrooms boasting en-suite facilities with underfloor heating. There is also a comfortable and easy to operate sofa bed in the open plan living space. As with all of our cottages you are spoilt for choice with a 5-minute stroll to the stunning Brook beach in one direction or pretty countryside walks in another.
The Brook Farmhouse stable block has been lovingly converted into four spacious holiday cottages, combining elegance and warmth. They are a perfect base to relax, unwind and explore this unique corner of the Isle of Wight. With many attractions, countryside and seaside resorts, there is definitely something for everyone. If you want to stay local, the beautiful Brook Bay is a 2-minute drive away and the sunsets on this side of the island are a must see, just stunning.
Osborne House was once Queen Victoria’s favourite residence and is now open to the public and well worth a visit, as are Carisbrook Castle, The Needles rock formations, Robin Hill park with acres of parkland, natural woodland, countryside gardens, adventures and special events, Ventnor Botanical Gardens and Shanklin Chine, a deep wooded gorge with streams and waterfalls. The model village at Godshill is also not to be missed as this gives a good overview of the island and its attractions, all in miniature of course.
These properties can be booked together for larger groups.
