Great place but (I’m being picky) needs to update bedding to something less heavy. Perfect location for Chatsworth and the peaks. We really enjoyed ourselves.

As you can see, 10 for almost everything, but I gave a 9 overall as the parking space was only suitable for a small car. My car had a third sticking out into the street on a bend despite all my efforts to get in close. It's only a VW cc, not a monster, so you might amend your description to 'parking for a small car only'. I say this with feeling, as a similar experience in a Norfolk cottage two years back left me with £1500 damages when a car collided with the rear portion of my car sticking into the street, rather taking the shine of our holiday. Fortunately the other driver paid in full! Just a small niggle, as otherwise it was all excellent, a lovely spot, and superb service and food at the Devonshire Arms.

Fantastic holiday cottage. Location perfect for walking. Pub nearby brilliant for eating and drinking. No local amenities, really, but that is what we wanted. Great to have a washing machine and tumble drier. And the range of walking books is excellent and the OS Explorer Map that is available is so useful. We would definitely use the cottage again in the future. Thank you. Just some constructive feedback: The shower room upstairs is still leaking in to the kitchen ( Hence the drip tray) Some bath mats would be useful for both showers ( both showers were excellent) We think the kettle might have a small leak, as well. All the above, just for your information. Would recommend this cottage to anyone Regards Chris

Lovely cottage marred by poor maintenance. We booked the cottage because of two bathrooms only to find one shower not working ( known about week previously) upstairs wet room leaking through kitchen ceiling (since at least February) and then the boiler leaking on the floor. None of the items were repaired during our stay.

Can’t fault with this property. It is very well equipped comfortable and kept very clean by the lovely Manager who was on hand for any query we had. The location is great for walks and accessible to Chatsworth which was a great day out.

Although the weather was not kind the cottage more than made up for it. We brought lots of logs with us & with the fire & the efficient heating we were warm & cosy. This is our second visit & we look forward to returning. Beeley is a pretty Village & we had a delicious meal in the Devonshire Arms just along the road.
