Great property, spotless and in a peaceful area. A little drive to the nearest town or other attractions, but if you are after a relaxed time out in the country this is definitely the place for you.

Would be much better with a large fridge as for six people the one at the cottage was far too small. Also would benefit from a steamer for the cooker as you are using all gas when not necessary. Also expected more of a welcome pack eg: milk bread, sugar tea, as most places we have stayed at have these things included. The cake was very nice and other than these small things we had a really nice time.

Very well equipped cottage except the control of the TV’s was not good. The loo seats need replacing for ones that fit the wc pans. The heating control needs to be reset because we found that the temp was set at 25 degC at 04am! In the lounge there needs to be some occasional tables for drinks as we found that we had to put them on the floor. The hot tap in the wc on the ground floor did not work, meaning only cold water available. All of the toilet roll holders need refitting and/or repositioning as loose and very difficult to make use of. A welcome pack would be appreciated (milk, eggs, bread, fruit).

Cottage is wonderful, cosy, clean and a welcoming cake, dog bowls and towels a lovely touch, gardens spacious and tidy, hot tub brilliant, would recommend a landline as no other network available, so peaceful at night a week just isn’t long enough, highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable cottage, very good for dogs. Beautiful surroundings, so although the actual garden is nearly all paving and gravel, there's plenty of green to look at just over the fence. Very well furnished and equipped, with very comfortable beds. Lovely hot tub, which we used a lot! Friendly, helpful owner, who didn't interfere. Negative is narrow tricky lane, though quite short - it does minimize the passing traffic though.

A beautiful cottage in glorious surroundings. Friendly and helpful owner who didn't interfere, unless needed. The beds were really comfortable and the hot tub was a big plus at the end of a long day. All rooms were spotlessly clean. Although there's an outdoor dining table and wooden chairs, as the garden's mainly paved, it would have been a real treat to have a few comfortable sun-loungers to relax in too.

One of the best cottages we've had .hot tub fantastic (although a wee bit to hot for me lol) beds so comfy owners could be more helpful.very peaceful area .We had our 20yr old grandson with us and he loved it .definitely would recommend this place 100%

We had a fantastic holiday at this beautiful cottage set in stunning surroundings. After days spent exploring the hot tub was a real treat to return home to. Friendly owners on hand if you needed them. Would definitely return to this property.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. The road the cottage is on is very narrow. The description advises the cottage has private parking for 3 cars, however you can only get one car on the drive, any others would have to be parked on the road. The rear garden/patio area is not fully enclosed so it isn't very dog friendly as they can get out. There is a separate fully enclosed area to the front of the property, however if you want your dogs to play outside whilst you enjoy the hot tub, they are not in a secure area. The cottage itself is beautiful, the owner had left a fresh cake, dog bowls, dog blanket and dog treats for us which was a lovely touch. The cottage is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The only real downside is the rear garden which needs to be fully enclosed. The description also needs to be clear that only one car will fit on the drive.

We had a lovely break at Bryn Salem. The cottage is as beautiful as the photos show, and it was very comfortable. It is very dog-friendly, the outside space is secure and the owners left bowls, treats and a towel for our dog. The hot tub was great, we enjoyed several evenings sat out in it listening to the sheep and watching kites flying overhead. I would have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay.

Lovely cottage. Will definitely be back

The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Comfortable beds. The WiFi was essential as we did struggle with a phone signal. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. Be aware that the nearest shop was about 15-20 minutes drive from the cottage. We did get slightly lost on the way to the cottage. The white cottage you are told to look out for is now blue. We turned immediately right after this cottage as stated in instructions but this was a dirt track. We Soon got our bearings and found the cottage. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful countryside and it is a good base to explore from.
