Very comfortable and spacious, as I've read on other reviews you do think it's on it's own but it's behind the owners house, which is hidden from view by a hedge. It didn't bother us. Eating out is a bit more expensive here, but there is a brand new Co-op which has quite a wide variety of food.

Had a good stay. The house had decent facilities and cleaned to a good standard so would consider staying there again. Top tip though-don't use Google maps or satnav to find it as the postcode takes you to the wrong place but the instructions supplied were ok.

When i booked online i thought it was a cottage on its own in middle of no where as the views it showed in pictures, when on arrival was difficult to find, to then realise it was on the owners premises, which made you fell like u were intruding, first night the house was so cold i could of just left, heating wasnt turned on for our arrival, lovley cottage but faulsly advertised. Wouldnt stay there again.

Local amenities as expected for a small village. Customers should not expect superstores, theatre, cinema, sports centre etc.

Unfortunately big problem with wasps dropping through skylights half dead. Kept finding them in bags and worksurfaces. No instruction booklets for appliances and the Jacuzzi bath jets were filthy. When jets turned on dirty water coming through. Probably wouldn't stay again.Don't eat at benleva hotel food appalling.
