We have just returned from a wonderful week. Host was excellent with flowers and Bara Brith on arrival. Plenty of hill walking and sights in the area including a possible viewing of Ospreys on neighbouring reservoir. Very peaceful location and away from it all, yet only a short drive from medieval Denbigh. This place is a little gem in the countryside.

Great cottage to stay in, very cosy and a very warm welcom by the owner! Nice to have lovely Welsh cakes on arrival and some Mille in the fridge. The place was super clean and beautifully kept. We had a lovely visit from one of the chickens and a great fresh eggs as well!

A little bit off the beaten track but all the better for it, everything we needed for a perfect few days away was catered for, wonderful views from the patio. Lots of different birds came to the feeding station and the chickens also visited us every day providing us with lovely fresh eggs, I'm sure we will be back one day.

The added extras...eggs,flowers,milk and yummy Bara Brith were such a lovely welcoming touch. I cannot thank the owner enough for her thoughtfulness. I am so pleased to have found this little gem of a place. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing comfortable stay.
