You can let off steam on the Llangollen Railway with a picturesque ride along the line to Corwen learn about the two Ladies of Llangollen and check your head for heights on the 136ft high Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which carries the canal over the valley. Fantastic quiet location minutes away from the centre of Llangollen. The cottage has beautiful views over the valley, and inside is comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. If we had had longer, we would have loved to extend our stay. Unfortunately we will have to wait until next time!

My holiday was for 4 nights. My friend and I spent most of our time walking in the local area. The location of the cottage meant that we were able to start all our walks from the cottage. The cottage was equipped and furnished to a very high standard and we were very grateful for the Welcome pack. I would highly recommend Bwthyn Clyd.

What a lovely stay we had at Bwthyn Clyd recently. A very spacious cottage both upstairs and down, everything was almost perfect except for the shower which wasn't very good. Otherwise, it was an ideal cottage and very reasonable. Many thanks for everything Julie, we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic cottage - very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful views from the cottage from every window and close to the centre of Llangollen. Caters extremely well for every need including a number of board games to play, books and TV as well as a lovely outside sitting area. We loved it! We did not want to leave as it was such a relaxing location.

This was our second visit to the cottage. The location is superb being ideal for walkers and car transport. Lots of places to visit and the cottage has a wide range of literature for you to browse. The cottage is like a home from home. Everything you need. Very well organised, clean and well laid out. The owner has obviously gone to a lot of trouble on the attention to detail.
