The location is awesome, cliff edge and cliffs for miles. Ivan is the most excellent of hosts and the house was entirely to our satisfaction. One of our best holidays ever!

If you are looking for a "get away from it all" break this has to be the perfect choice - a fabulous location & very clean & comfortable accommodation. Great walks with stunning scenery start right outside the door & Bwthyn Y Borth is a lovely place to come back to each day. We had concerns about staying in a property next to the owners' home but apart from a warm & welcoming greeting on arrival from Ivan we were totally unaware of their presence.

We had a lovely stay, again (our 2nd visit), in this cottage. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable and the views from all angles are spectacular! I especially love the views from the lounge area, the kitchen and the main, rear bedroom and also we love the log burner and modern yet cosy sofas and seaside decor. The bedding is also very luxurious and comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The owners, who live next door are very friendly and helpful and leave you in peace to enjoy your stay. Our only, minor, grumble was the lovely main bed was a bit small for my 6" husband and wasn't very good for his back. Not enough to deter us from planning another trip back there however! There are loads of beaches within easy reach of the cottage and some lovely restaurants like the White Eagle, the Black Seal and the Sea Shanty at Treaddur Bay. Also it's very close to Holyhead and its amenities like various large supermarkets, take away and others shops and restaurants, not to mention the train station and ferry port.
