We absolutely loved our week at Cardy Cottage - we were very lucky with lovely January sunshine all week which allowed us to explore Fife and it’s beautiful coastline - the cottage was well situated for us to to drive to various places as well as starting walks from the doorstep along the beach. Spent a couple of evenings in the local Railway pub, and a great meal at the Peat Inn a short drive away. The cottage itself is well furnished and equipped and comfortable, and we would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cardy Cottage. We found the cottage very cosy and provided everything we needed including things like baby gates, travel cot etc. The village itself was lovely, with 2 good pubs. Would definitely stay again.

Have previously visited Lower Largo (my father's birthplace - the Selkirk connection). There is plenty to do in Fife and neighbouring counties no matter which direction you decide to go. Cardy House is a delight and very well equipped - even down to home made bread and jam. Simon and Becca have supplied everything that one is ever likely to need. The area is good for cycling, walking and swimming in the Firth of Forth (or in Leven Leisure Centre swimming pool nearby). Eat and drink in the Crusoe pub and The Railway Inn both about a ten minute walk away. There are plenty of small fishing villages in the East Neuk of Fife. The fish and chips in Anstruther or Pittenweem not to be missed. Buy any fresh produce, meat and lots of other products from the farm shops of which there are many. In a nutshell, definitely worth a visit Reversing into the drive is tight and there is a blind spot when leaving but the road outside is quiet so not really a problem.
