Carron House is in a lovely, peaceful, location with views of the Loch and hills beyond, yet only half an hour's walk into the village. There are so many lovely walks and activities close by that we are determined to return to this superb part of Scotland. The house is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need and we were just as happy to 'stay in'.

This is a lovely house and probably the best equipped rental we’ve ever stayed in. Everything is good quality and in good condition. However there are two issues potential renters should be aware of. The first is the stairs which are wooden and uncarpeted so are slippery and could be a risk for young children and anyone unsteady on their feet. The second is the garden which is not fully enclosed and open onto a lane which leads to a road so children and dogs can’t be left unsupervised which is a shame. A fence and gate would fix that problem. Overall though this is a delightful house with lovely views.

Carron House is an excellent property for a family with a spacious layout and great views. Despite the poor weather we had a good weeks holiday and the house was a large reason for this.

We will certainly return. Great house, very modern and in a great location. We arrived in October and some amenities off season but apart from that was excellent.

Missing basics like loo rolls, logs for woodburner, woodburner tools. Dog hairs quite noticeable. Prior warning of the roadworks along the Loch would have been nice as this had a major impact on our plans while there.

A fantastic location and property. Reading other reviews regarding the DVD player, it works as long as you change the HDMI cable from the FreeSat box however there is no remote for the DVD.

Beautiful house, furnished to a high standard and very well equipped. Gardener needed to attend to the lawn or key to shed should be left then we could have cut it. Patio heater would have been great.
