Nice quite lodge, we enjoyed a weekend stay with the little one. Who loved to run around with the dog only down side was there was poor tv signal so wasn’t much to do when the little one went to bed. Overall was really good, and would recommend to others

Lovely quiet location. Good sized lounge and kitchen. Both bedrooms small and not much space to move around. Sofa bed in lounge a bonus when needing a travel cot in bedroom. Cooker knobs not clear for use. But quiet location was highlight.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay, however the seating in lounge were not the most comfortable we'd come across. The area is very quiet & peaceful yet only a short drive way from Masham & a little further to Thirsk.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. One issue we had (with one toilet) on the morning of our last day was sorted within hours while we were out for the day. We did have some issues of things needing attention (Mattress, Shower drainage, toaster cable) which the owner has informed me have now been rectified, which could have been done before if previous guests had reported them. We were surprised that there was no where to hang coats and dogs leads etc just inside the front door as there was plenty of space on the wall. My other issue was that with such poor mobile signal combined with no wifi (due to be installed this month I believe the owner said) it is hit and miss if you get any signal to be able to book a table to eat/ find info about local attractions, but also in an emergency it may be difficult to summon help quickly. One other notable omission is no DVD player. But there are many plus points, excellent location, Very peaceful location, wonderful views all around nearby, with many places to go for walks. The property itself has almost everything you need except the few things mentioned. with attention to the issues I raised my score for comfort and equipment would be much higher.

Would have been totally perfect but there was no pictures on the dial of the oven so it was very tricky to work out oven/grill temperature etc. Other than that lovely

Great, peaceful location. Nice living area and bathrooms. Only downside is the mattresses... they are in desperate need of replacement. Every time you move you can hear the springs
