Lovely lodge Extremely clean Tastefully decorated Very well equipped Great welcome pack - more than expected Car parking spot just off the road was coned off ready for us Very helpful & friendly owners who carried our luggage Nothing too much trouble The only downside was that the lodge was about 50 yards walk from the car down the garden path through 4 gates Not a problem for us but may affect some less mobile. However this meant a very peaceful and quiet location - no road noise - with lovely views over the countryside.

We have been here several times now and have booked again for next year. A really lovely place to stay. So comfortable, relaxing, peaceful views and amazing hosts.

Lovely welcome from Caroline and her dog . The lodge looked like new and was spotlessly clean. Everything you need was provided. The welcome pack was the best we have ever had = filter coffee, wine, shortbread, pretzels, bread, butter, jam, milk, tea, sugar, hot chocolate, a jar of minty sweets and bottled water by the bedside! The towels provided were very good quality and there was a full selection of cleaning supplies. dishwasher tablets, even air freshener for the bathroom. The patio area was lovely, chimenea and BBQ, plenty of seating and the area was covered. Wonderful break, we will be going back

We thoroughly enjoyed our week. Caroline and Neil have thought of everything and the lodge was so relaxing we didn’t want to leave.

The owners have exceeded expectations. Cedar lodge was peaceful, relaxing with all the home comforts you need while overlooking unspoilt scenery. The pictures do not do it justice. An excellent place to unwind .
