    Church View is a delightful semi-detached property situated in the heart of the historic market town of Alnwick. Aptly named, this immaculately presented house sits adjacent to the imposing St Paul’s Church and enjoys lovely views. The living/dining room is on the ground floor and leads to a bright and airy conservatory overlooking the well maintained enclosed garden. The kitchen has been refurbished in 2018 and has many integral appliances and smart granite work surfaces, and is also on the ground floor. All three bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the first floor. There is also the convenience of en-suite shower facilities to the master bedroom too, and good quality bed linen and towels are supplied.
    Church View sits back from the hustle and bustle of the town centre and has the benefit of private parking, yet there is a wide selection of amenities all within a gentle stroll. There is an array of independent shops and a variety of pubs available within walking distance. Golf is also available less than a mile away. Close by is Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland (and film location for Harry Potter’s Hogwarts!) and the spectacular grounds of Alnwick Gardens are popular visitor attractions. Head west towards the picturesque small town of Rothbury which nestles at the foot of the heather capped Cheviot Hills. Or travel east towards the coastline and explore the stunning 20-mile stretch of Heritage coastline designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.     Excellent accommodation in a brilliant location. Extra personal touches such as welcome packs for us and our dog, hand soaps etc were all really appreciated. The only possible improvement would be for a freezer. We would highly recommend staying at this property and hope to return here on our next visit to Northumberland. Thank you so much for making our first visit to Northumberland so enjoyable.

    We really enjoyed our holiday at Church View. The house was bright and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated (and the one for Evie too). The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Lisa, the owner kept in touch asking if we needed anything not to hesitate to call her. There was also lots of information on places to visit locally and further afield. We loved the church bells and will definiteley be returning soon.

    Lovely, immaculately clean and warm house in a great location, 5 minutes walk into Alnwick and central for all places to visit. Our 7th visit to Northumberland and the best accommodation so far. Very dog friendly, lovely welcome pack for us and the dog guests! We hope to return.

    Church View is a lovely, clean cottage, it’s in a good location for all the amenities in Alnwick, and central to the delights of Northumberland. The house is spotlessly keen, and many things were left for our convenience eg milk bread wine biscuits cereals etc, and we were only staying for 3nights The owners are local so easily accessible but didn’t interfere with our holiday. The church chimes kept one of our party awake the first night, but ear plugs solved that one. I would thoroughly recommend this property, lovely home, lovely people.

    Church View - Outstanding accommodation for a family wedding in this lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean house. With a very generous welcome pack - a real bonus, the house was larger than expected, very comfortable and spacious, excellent standard. Great facilities, very well equipped and perfect for all local amenities situated within walking distance in the charming town of Alnwick. As a little downside, the vehicle off-road parking is only suitable for 1 vehicle, but don’t let parking put you off, as is still manageable. Excellent, pleasant communication with owner -Lisa- which was very helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!

    Had an absolutely brilliant time in a very comfortable and spotlessly clean wee house. The welcome tray which had jams, sauces, bread, milk, biscuits & wine was a real bonus. Already thinking about a return in 2020. Just outside the old centre of town and well placed for Barter Books, the Gardens & Castle and only a short drive to Alnmouth for a great beach and nice wee cafes.

    Fantastic. All local amenities within walking distance. Great base for exploring Northumberland.
