    Nicely situated in its surroundings, lovely neighbours. Great coastline with good dog friendly beaches. Local people are very welcoming.

    Cloggy Nook was overall an excellent choice for us. The interior lay out of rooms is splendid, all being on one level (apart from a small step into the kitchen from the lounge) The master bedroom and en-suite are particularly attractive and spacious. The second bathroom adds to the overall comfort of the place. What strikes you is the quality of things like the bedding and the general décor, curtains, lamps etc. The kitchen is well equipped and has a really sturdy, solid farmhouse kitchen table! The whole place is cosy, and with the gas fired 'wood burner' makes an ideal choice for a winter break. The outside space, spread over a lane from the cottage is plenteous and so really ideal for warmer weather outdoor living. With just 3 miles from Beadnell Beach with a good car park at the back of the beach, the cottage is ideally placed to visit local beauty spots. Embleton Bay, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Craster all were within very easy reach. We, with our two retrievers, enjoyed our stay at Cloggy Nook very much and can highly recommend it as a holiday base.
