    Utility room: With washer/dryer and freezer and useful hanging space for walking gear.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with pine furniture and pretty fabrics en-suite with shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
    Bedroom 2: Bunk bedroom with full size bunks, pine furniture and pretty fabrics.
    Bathroom: With shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

    Second Floor:
    Bedroom 3: Twin bedroom decorated in fresh, modern colours with ample storage.

    All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Fuel for the wood burner not supplied. Cot and highchair available. Wifi internet access available.

    Small patio to the rear of the property. 2 parking permits available one for on street on Compston Street and the other for all SLDC car parks.

    Ambleside is certainly a tourist hot spot due to its central Lakes location, enjoying a fantastic array of specialist shops and excellent facilities for dining out.     Really enjoyed our stay at Cornerstones although a few improvements could be made. Firstly unsightly black mould is in both bathrooms which needs addressing. The hand towel rail was loose in the ensuite and the mattress in the main bedroom could have been comfier. Overall though its a good cottage ideally situated in the centre of Ambleside.

    On our first night we found dried blood on both the sheets and the mattress protector, as well as a clump of hair, both in the double bed, and stains on the bed sheets in the bunk room. while this was sorted quickly by your staff it was not the best start to the holiday.
