    Had a lovely week at Cornerstones for Christmas. It did take a while for the house to warm up though. The only other problem we had was parking outside the property, there was never a space in the street. Overall a great time and a lovely cottage.

    Really enjoyed our stay at Cornerstones although a few improvements could be made. Firstly unsightly black mould is in both bathrooms which needs addressing. The hand towel rail was loose in the ensuite and the mattress in the main bedroom could have been comfier. Overall though its a good cottage ideally situated in the centre of Ambleside.

    On our first night we found dried blood on both the sheets and the mattress protector, as well as a clump of hair, both in the double bed, and stains on the bed sheets in the bunk room. while this was sorted quickly by your staff it was not the best start to the holiday.
