We found this cottage ok. Unfortunately there was some let down in the cleanliness department. Hopefully it will get sorted one day. Otherwise the cottage is ok for visitors who are not discerning and don’t mind basic stuff.

After booking, a couple of bad reviews appeared about cleanliness. Uh oh, we thought. But needn't have worried, any issues there were have been resolved and it was spotless. Comfy armchairs not too big and floppy. Memory foam mattresses on beds. Short walk downhill into town, bit of a slog uphill afterwards! Car parking fine for mid size car, but would be a bit fiddly for a 4x4.

Picked for location so suited well. Quite a compact cottage and a bit dusty. We thought more 3 star than 4 star. Need to fix exposed wire in main bedroom. Water flow to shower a bit inconsistent .

Good location. This property is a bit run down. The lighting is poor in the property. The lounge lights are flickering. The showers are poor. This property needs updating. The guidebook needs updating from lots of handwritten scrawls. The property smells damp when you enter as the owners inist on the heating being turned off.

Very COSY cottage! Ground floor accommodation very tight and particularly so for dining arrangements. Cleanliness an issue. Oven unclean and greasy and kitchen floor sticky. Down the side of settee full of food particles and some loose cushions soiled. Back of toilet seat hinge soiled and bath bin unemptied. Draughty front door as mentioned in a number of reviews! Parking access and manoeuvring very problematic and particularly when the parking area fully occupied. Accommodation fitted out on a budget basis including spatula with no handle! Poor quality bath towels and toilet rolls. All in all disappointing and poor value for money.
