A staircase leads to the first floor with the double bedroom enjoying further views through the pretty cottage style window. The adjacent bathroom has a modern suite and is fully tiled. The second floor accessed via a narrow staircase has a further double bedroom along with a modern en-suite shower room.\nOutside there is private parking for one vehicle and a small bench seating area where a morning coffee or evening drink can be enjoyed.\nLocated in a quiet and peaceful area of Ambleside yet Cosy Nook is just a short walk from the centre of the town where you will find an excellent range of shops cafés and traditional Lakeland pubs. Walkers don’t have far to travel to enjoy some of the finest fell walks or for a more relaxing way to enjoy the scenery why not take a Windermere cruise from the nearby Waterhead pier?     Cottage was nice but could of been better, scuffed paintwork and light bulbs not working. Would book again though.

    We loved the location and cottage but the driveway was atrocious, no room to manoeuvre and slippery when wet. The kitchen utensils, eg. Needed better frying pan. The lamp shades needed lifting or replacing, too low. Vacuum cleaners need good clean out every time they are used. Maintenance/service prompt and efficient.
