A great cottage to return to.

An excellent holiday location if you want piece and quiet in lovely countryside. The quality of the accommodation was exceptional with lots of high quality fittings and fixtures and the unique bedroom in the circular oast loft with an internal view of the cowl. There was a lovely welcome pack provided by the hosts, Diane & Alistair which helped settle us in.

The most beautiful and probably the best equipped holiday cottage we've ever stayed in. The crockery and furniture etc were excellent - not the usual old and unwanted mugs and plates found at most cottages! The welcome pack too was generous and of high quality. Our hosts were readily available but not intrusive. They clearly addressed any issues - I noticed for instance that someone had commented on the small size of the coffee cafetiere and found that a new large one was now provided!

It was a good location to visit many National Trust properties. The bed was comfortable so we had no trouble sleeping at the end of busy days. Lovely setting.

Cowford Oast is a stunning home situated within the owners beautiful gardens. The owners Diane and Alistair were very welcoming. The Oast house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The welcome pack was brilliant and included eggs, butter ,milk , cereal , biscuits ,crisps and bottle of apple juice and even Prosecco. Steam chairs and also table with chairs can be used to enjoy breakfast sitting in the garden watching the birds and rabbits . Absolutely Idyllic . No local shops within walking distance , but Crowborough is only a 10 minute drive away. Lots to see and do around the Kent and East Sussex area. Highly recommended place for a couple to stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this very original cottage. It's a well deserved award the owners received for last year. We hope to come again.
