Upstairs the master en-suite bedroom allows light to stream in through the two Velux windows making this a lovely and bright space. It overlooks the rear garden and enjoys views towards the mountain tops and sea. The twin room boasts views towards and sea from one window and across countryside from the other. Otters have even been spotted playing in the sea from the bathroom window. The landing area has been transformed into a small play area for children with bean bags and a selection of toys and games for the kids to enjoy.
In front of the cottage is Craegard House which is a large sandstone house that sleeps six and has been renovated to the same style as Craigard Cottage. They share the driveway but both properties have their own parking spaces. Located in the conservation village of Corrie where there is a children’s play area and hotel which serves food and drink to non-residents and regular live music, this is a great location for holidaying on the isle of Arran. It is only 6 miles from the main village of Brodick. For the adventurous the start of the Corrie route to the summit of Goatfell and other walking trails are nearby.
Craigard Cottage can be booked together with Craegard House (UKA426) to accommodate up to 10 guests.
Please note: There are open, steep, spiral or narrow stairs at the property.
